Manage contractual matters with vendors/partners and ensure related regulatory issues, including compliance on contractual agreements and commercial transactions are managed within regulatory framework
Vetting and drafting of commercial contracts
Guide Business team to manage & resolve commercial disputes and manage litigations, claims, and disputes as they arise
Liaison with other companies with the Zomato Group, service providers, external legal advisors, local government, regulatory authorities (local and foreign) and relevant service providers in various jurisdictions.
Ad – hoc Legal advice related to general operations of the company
Report and manage legalities related to IP and trademarks protections
The successful candidate will possess a common law background and should be a graduate from an accredited law school in India
3 – 4 years of legal experience in a law firm or a combination of both, a law firm and in-house setting, with a strong commercial background and experience practicing corporate/transactional law, preferably in online space, media, IT/ ITES industry verticals
Good understanding of laws related to intellectual property rights, technology, labor laws, and advertising laws.
